Archbishop Curley and John Carroll are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Friars will welcome the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Archbishop Curley will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Archbishop Curley needed a bit of extra time to put away Our Lady of Good Counsel. They skirted past the Falcons 10-9.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, John Carroll's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Perkiomen School by a score of 2-1.

John Carroll got a good showing from Ant Russo, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits Russo has allowed since back in March.

At the plate, John Carroll saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Niedzialkowski, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Those hits marked the first that Niedzialkowski has got this season.

Archbishop Curley's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for John Carroll, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6-1.

Archbishop Curley skirted past John Carroll 3-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Do the Friars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
