Baseball Game Preview: Scappoose Indians vs. Seaside Seagulls

Scappoose has gone a perfect 10-0 against Seaside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Indians will face off against the Seagulls at 5:00 p.m. Scappoose's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Seaside's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Scappoose is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Pendleton just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Buckaroos by a score of 10-9.

Meanwhile, Seaside fell victim to Tillamook and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cheesemakers. The defeat continues a trend for the Seagulls in their meetings with the Cheesemakers: they've now lost six in a row.

Seaside's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Scappoose, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.
