Zamar Jones and Keon Scott secure win for Meade

Recap: Meade Mustangs vs. Glen Burnie Gophers
The Meade Mustangs entered their tilt with the Glen Burnie Gophers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Meade came out on top against Glen Burnie by a score of 58-45 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Meade also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Leading Meade to victory were Zamar Jones and Keon Scott. Jones scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Scott scored 14 points along with five assists and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Turman, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Meade's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Glen Burnie, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
Meade will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Crofton at 6:00 p.m. As for Glen Burnie, they will head out on the road to challenge Annapolis at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Annapolis is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
