Redbank Valley had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Clarion-Limestone Lions as they made off with a 55-29 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.

Clarion-Limestone lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jase Ferguson, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesse Siwiecki, who posted six points and nine rebounds.

Redbank Valley's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5. As for Clarion-Limestone, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redbank Valley will challenge Clarion Area at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Clarion-Limestone, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions duke it out with the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Clarion-Limestone is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.2 points per game this season.
