Basketball Recap: Maine Central Institute Comes Up Short

Maine Central Institute lost against Mount View back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Maine Central Institute Huskies took a 49-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mount View Mustangs.

Maine Central Institute's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Mount View, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maine Central Institute will square off against Belfast at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount View, they will head out to face off against Lincoln Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Mount View likes a good challenge.
