Volleyball Game Preview: Grand Island Lutheran Lightning vs. Archangels Catholic Defenders

Grand Island Lutheran is 0-10 against Archangels Catholic since September of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Lightning will take on the Defenders in a tournament on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Grand Island Lutheran came up short against Central Valley and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Archangels Catholic had just enough and edged out Palmer 2-1 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Defenders.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Archangels Catholic got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 24-26, 25-11.

Grand Island Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Archangels Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.
