George County won against Pascagoula on Friday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Rebels beat the Panthers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-5. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 8-5 victory on Friday.

The team relied heavily on Ben Davis, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Blane Green was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

George County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Pascagoula, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.
