Houston Academy waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Northside Methodist Academy Knights 4-0. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Northside Methodist Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nate Selig (2), Aidan Phillips, and Robert Egbert.

Houston Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six games. As for Northside Methodist Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-1-1 record.

Looking ahead, Houston Academy will welcome Long at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Houston Academy knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Long likes a good challenge. As for Northside Methodist Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Pike Liberal Arts at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
