Sharyland waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Pioneer Diamondbacks a 1-0 shutout. Give the Rattlers' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Sharyland's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three games. As for Pioneer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sharyland will challenge Vela at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sharyland is facing Vela at the right time seeing as Vela is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
