Huguenot took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Richmond High School for the Arts Bulldogs. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Isaac DeJesus was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). DeJesus was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, Ra'Sean Miller was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 4-for-4.

Huguenot always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .808. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Richmond High School for the Arts only posted an OBP of .077.

Huguenot and Richmond High School for the Arts will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Falcons see the field they'll take on John Marshall at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for Richmond High School for the Arts, their break will end when they face Thomas Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on the 10th.
