Basketball Recap: Thorp Comes Up Short

Thorp was the 62-44 winner over Gilman when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Thorp Cardinals took a 55-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gilman Pirates. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Thorp's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Gilman, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.

Thorp will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Bloomer at 7:15 p.m. Gilman has already played their next game (against Spencer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
