Soccer Recap: Kearney Comes Up Short

Kearney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Liberty Blue Jays. If Kearney were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to Liberty when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kearney's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Liberty, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kearney will welcome St. Michael the Archangel at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Liberty, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oak Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Park will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Liberty surely won't give up without a fight.
