Softball Game Preview: Great Falls Red Devils vs. Lee Central Stallions

The Great Falls Red Devils will square off against the Lee Central Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Great Falls has given up an average of 12.7 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Great Falls' offense. They came up short against McBee on Wednesday, falling 18-0.

Great Falls saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Manning, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Lee Central never got on the board in their matchup last Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against C.A. Johnson last Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 20-3 win. Considering the Stallions' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Great Falls' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Lee Central, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.
