Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sunnyside). They strolled past the Wenatchee Panthers with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 70-52. The win was some much needed relief for the Grizzlies as it spelled an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Sunnyside's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-12. As for Wenatchee, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Sunnyside and Wenatchee could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Sunnyside will square off against West Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday down 140 places (205 vs. 65). Sunnyside is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Similarly, Wenatchee (ranked 305th) will meet Eisenhower (ranked 93rd) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
