Leon proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Lincoln Trojans 3-2. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Leon was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-14, 19-25, 25-12, 15-13.

Riley Knipple paced Leon's offense, picking up 19 kills. Knipple got some help from Riley Perezluha and her 21 assists. Perezluha was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Leon's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Leon has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Forest on the 23rd. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Maclay on the 25th.
