Softball Recap: Searcy's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Searcy came into Friday's matchup having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bauxite Miners a 7-0 shutout on Friday. The Lions not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 17, 2024.

The victory got Searcy back to even at 1-1. As for Bauxite, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2.

Coming up, Searcy will venture away from home to face off against Rivercrest at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bauxite, they will welcome Atkins at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
