Basketball Recap: Jonathan Alder Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Given the Pioneers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Wildcats are ranked 500th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jonathan Alder is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for North Union, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
