St. Thomas Aquinas waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Magnificat Blue Streaks , sneaking past 2-1.

St. Thomas Aquinas was staring down a 1-0 deficit headed into the second set, but they rallied to take the next three for the win. After all that action, the final score was 20-25, 25-22, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Malia Brooks, who had six digs and 12 assists. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted nine or more in the last 13 games she's played dating back to last season.

St. Thomas Aquinas kept the net locked down and finished the game with 12 blocks. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Magnificat didn't got any.

Kailey Snow and Lindsey Murphy certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Snow had 17 digs and three aces, while Murphy had 11 digs.

As for Magnificat, they will square off against Mother McAuley at 12:59 p.m. on Saturday.
