 The Pomona Panthers won the last time they faced the Conifer Lobos, and things went their way  on Wednesday too. Pomona came out on top against Conifer by a score of  45-36. The  win made it back-to-back wins for Pomona.
  Kendra Ritzmann was  her usual excellent self,  dropping  a double-double on 12 points and 15  rebounds. She hasn't dropped below eight  rebounds for 18 straight games.  Janessa Mondragon was another key contributor,  scoring nine points along with four  steals and two  blocks.
 Conifer lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Bree Leslie, who  scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Megan Swearengin, who  scored 13 points.
 Pomona's victory  ended a four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 10-12. As for Conifer, they dropped their record down to 3-19 with that  defeat, which was their ninth straight  at home.
 Pomona won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Wheat Ridge at 5:30  p.m.  on February 15th. Hopefully Pomona focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 17 on Wednesday. Conifer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
