Recap: Lake Brantley Patriots vs. Boone Braves
The Lake Brantley Patriots came tearing into Tuesday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Boone 55-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Lake Brantley has posted against Boone since January 17, 2015.
Lake Brantley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Landen Paquette led the charge by scoring 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dean Adkins, who scored 11 points.
Lake Brantley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Boone, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
