After a string of five wins, Sunset's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were outmatched by the White Longhorns and fell 55-17. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bison this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-26 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead White to victory, but perhaps none more so than Portia Danso, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Danso a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Dany Diaz, who posted 12 points and eight steals.

Sunset's loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-9. As for White, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-9.

Sunset does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for White, they will challenge Adamson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. White is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.3 points per game this season.
