Volleyball Game Preview: Northside Methodist Academy Knights vs. Rehobeth Rebels

Northside Methodist Academy hasn't had much luck against Rehobeth recently, but that could start to change on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with eight defeats in a row, Northside Methodist Academy turned things around against Slocomb on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Red Tops with a sharp 3-0 win. The Knights not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, Rehobeth posted their closest victory since August 30th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Dothan 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Rehobeth got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 20-25, 15-11.

Rehobeth's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Northside Methodist Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-21.

Northside Methodist Academy couldn't quite get it done against Rehobeth when the teams last played back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
