Basketball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 59-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fieldcrest Knights. If the Minutemen were looking for revenge after losing 50-45 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Fieldcrest, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-10.

Lexington will be playing in front of their home fans against Deer Creek-Mackinaw at 7:00 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Fieldcrest, they will face off against El Paso-Gridley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
