Ashe County is a perfect 10-0 against East Wilkes since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Huskies will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Ashe County is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 16 games.

On Wednesday, Ashe County was able to grind out a solid win over Wilkes Central, taking the game 3-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Ashe County's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 90th, while Wilkes Central are ranked 253rd).

Meanwhile, East Wilkes and Alleghany combined for 13 shots on goal on Wednesday, which explains the impressive nine total goals scored. The Cardinals lost 9-0 to the Trojans. East Wilkes haven't had much luck with Alleghany recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

East Wilkes' loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Ashe County, their victory bumped their record up to 19-2.
