Football Game Preview: Gladwin Flying G's vs. Kingsford Flivvers + How To Watch

The Gladwin Flying G will head out on the road to square off against the Kingsford Flivvers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gladwin has given up an average of 33.8 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Gladwin is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Goodrich just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Martians, falling 63-42. While losing is never fun, the Flying G's can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 158th, while the Martians are ranked 29th).

Despite the defeat, Gladwin got top-tier performance from Colton Pfenninger, who rushed for 75 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 222 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Kingsford came up short against Marquette on Friday and fell 21-13. The game marked the Flivvers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Gladwin's record now sits at 5-4. As for Kingsford, their record is now 6-3.

Gladwin skirted past Kingsford 18-15 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Will the Flying G's repeat their success, or do the Flivvers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
