Basketball Recap: Dickinson Find Success

Dickinson won the last time they faced Lamar and things went their way on Friday too. The Gators came out on top against the Texans by a score of 66-54. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gators.

TroyNelle Belle produced another solid performance dropping a double-double with 30 points and 11 boards. Those 11 rebounds gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of William Abney, who posted eight points in addition to seven steals and five boards.

Dickinson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Dickinson's record now sits at 7-3. As for Lamar, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Dickinson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-70 win against Shadow Creek on the 2nd. As for Lamar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 48-43 defeat against St. Pius X on the 29th.
