Volleyball Recap: Amherst Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Amherst came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Manawa Wolves by a score of 3-1. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolves, too.

The final score came out to 25-15, 15-25, 25-11, 25-20.

Ivy Boelk paced Amherst's offense, picking up ten kills. Boelk also shared the team's lead in assists with Kinzee Martin: they picked up 13 each. Hollie Singer and Leah Kisting kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Amherst's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Manawa, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Amherst will take on rival Bonduel at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Manawa is set to square off against their familiar foe Shiocton at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
