Basketball Recap: West Logan Christian Academy Comes Up Short

West Logan Christian Academy was the 72-33 winner over Bloomingdale when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The West Logan Christian Academy Warriors lost to the Bloomingdale Blazers at home by a 63-46 margin on Friday. The loss leaves the Warriors without a win on the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bloomingdale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aiden Schiedler, who posted 15 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Dunkle, who had 13 points.

West Logan Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bloomingdale, they moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

West Logan Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mount Hope Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mount Hope Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.6 points per game this season. As for Bloomingdale, they will welcome Ohio Valley Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
