Magnolia Heights won against Bayou Academy on Tuesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Chiefs' pitchers stepped up to hand the Briarcrest Christian Saints a 6-0 shutout. Considering the Chiefs have won 15 matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Magnolia Heights has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Briarcrest Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-10.
