Basketball Recap: Pittsburg Takes a Loss

Pittsburg was the 69-49 winner over Groveton when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pittsburg Panthers took a 50-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Groveton Eagles on Monday. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Pittsburg's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Groveton, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Pittsburg will face off against Nute at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Groveton, they will welcome Gorham at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
