Wabash proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings, sneaking past 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (110-102) Wabash actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-23, 20-25, 26-24, 15-13.

Bryleigh Boggs paced Wabash's offense, picking up 32 kills. Boggs got some help from Mya Whitaker and her 24 assists. Whitaker also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Josie Bakehorn, racking up three apiece.

Wabash is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Wabash wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Eastern on the 16th. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Bremen on the 18th.
