Basketball Recap: Delmar Finds Home Court Redemption Against Sussex Academy

There's no place like home for Delmar, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against the Sussex Academy Seahawks by a score of 40-33 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-36 last Tuesday.

Delmar has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Sussex Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Coming up, Delmar will welcome Seaford at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seaford will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Delmar surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sussex Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 60-25 defeat against Indian River on the 15th.
