Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is New Heights Christian Academy's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

New Heights Christian Academy won the last time they faced McAuley Catholic and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cougars came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: New Heights Christian Academy took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9.

Lydia Hipple paced New Heights Christian Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Hipple got some help from Caitlin Meppelink and her 16 assists. Allie Stout controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

New Heights Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7-2 record this season. As for McAuley Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
