Baseball Recap: Baboquivari Warriors vs. Patagonia Lobos
Baboquivari won the last time they faced Patagonia and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Lobos by a score of 6-2.

Kolukeo Velasco was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off nine hits (and only one walk). Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Baboquivari is 3-1 when Velasco posts two or more stolen bases, but 1-7 otherwise.
In other batting news, Jesse Buendia was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ezekiel Hendricks, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Baboquivari's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Patagonia, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-12.
