Volleyball Recap: Lansing Christian Takes a Loss

Lansing Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pinckney Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Saturday.

Lansing Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pinckney, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Lansing Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Perry at 7:00 p.m. on September 3. As for Pinckney, they will be playing at home against Leslie at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
