Softball Recap: Dennis-Yarmouth Regional Wins Going Away Against St. John Paul II

Dennis-Yarmouth Regional won the last time they faced St. John Paul II and things went their way on Monday too. The Dolphins blew past the Lions 18-5. Considering the Dolphins have won three matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Brooke Chicoine, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Shae McSharry, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs.

Dennis-Yarmouth Regional was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
