It's playoff time, and Trinity Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Columbus Titans on Thursday, sneaking past 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Trinity Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josiah Sems, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs Sems has posted since back in April. Another was Braden Roberts, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Trinity Academy's victory bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Columbus, they moved to 11-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Trinity Academy will square off against Humboldt at 1:15 p.m. on Friday. The Cubs will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. Columbus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
