Basketball Recap: Copenhagen's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Copenhagen won against Lyme Central last Wednesday with 59 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Copenhagen Golden Knights snuck past the La Fargeville Knights with a 59-54 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Knights.

Jacob Lawlee continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last five games he's played. Logan Jordal was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Copenhagen's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6. As for La Fargeville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Copenhagen will face off against Alexandria Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for La Fargeville, they will square off against Lyme Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
