Soccer Game Preview: Dutchtown vs. McIntosh

Dutchtown hasn't had much luck against McIntosh recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Dutchtown Bulldogs will face off against the McIntosh Chiefs at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Dutchtown lost 11-1 to Fayette County on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Bulldogs were already down 5-1.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for McIntosh's offense. They came up short against Auburn on Saturday, falling 4-0. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dutchtown now has a losing record of 1-2. As for McIntosh, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Dutchtown came up short against McIntosh in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, falling 3-1. Can Dutchtown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
