Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Prairie). They blew past the Heritage Timberwolves 16-1 on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Falcons considering their two-run performance the match before.

Aidan Emery tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

On the hitting side, Prairie got a massive performance out of Kishon Brown, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave Brown a new career-high. Owen Dirks was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Prairie and bumps their season record up to 8-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Heritage, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Prairie didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Seton Catholic on the 25th. As for Heritage, they have also already played their next game, a 10-1 loss against Franklin Pierce on the 26th.
