Ord took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Ainsworth Bulldogs 66-19. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Chanticleers just coasted through the last quarter.

Ord's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordan Williams led the charge by going 7-for-11 on his way to 15 points along with five assists and four steals. Colton Thompson was another key player, shooting 78% from the field to rack up 16 points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Ord was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ainsworth only posted seven.

Ord didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-41 victory against Central City on the 6th. As for Ainsworth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-35 loss against Gordon-Rushville on the 6th.
