Softball Recap: Kingman/Norwich Comes Up Short

Kingman/Norwich came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-1 to the Halstead Dragons. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Kingman/Norwich saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Parsons, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Kingman/Norwich's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Kingman/Norwich has already played their next matchup, a 13-2 win against Chaparral on the 31st. As for Halstead, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Liberal on the 29th.
