Softball Game Preview: Albany Huskies vs. Foley Falcons

The Albany Huskies will square off against the Foley Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Albany nor Foley posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Albany lost 10-2 to Melrose on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Dutchmen: they've now lost three in a row.

Albany saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rowan Ellingson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Foley came up short against Sauk Centre on Monday and fell 5-2.

Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Foley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Albany came out on top in a nail-biter against Foley in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 2-0. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
