Baseball Recap: West Allis Central Comes Up Short

West Allis Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the South Milwaukee Rockets, falling 7-1. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Rockets from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

West Allis Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Webb, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

West Allis Central's record now sits at 1-14. As for South Milwaukee, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Allis Central will host Greendale at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Milwaukee, they will welcome Milwaukee Lutheran at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.25 runs per game on average), something the Rockets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
