Soccer Game Preview: Hesperia vs. Oak Hills

The Hesperia Scorpions will challenge the Oak Hills Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Hesperia is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Sultana on Monday. Hesperia fell just short of Sultana by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Scorpions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 438th, while the Sultans are ranked 83rd).

Meanwhile, Oak Hills hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. They blew past Serrano 4-1. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 13 games by three goals or more so far this season.

Hesperia has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9-4 record this season. As for Oak Hills, they pushed their record up to 19-0-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.
