Baseball Recap: Cushing Comes Up Short

Cushing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-1 to the Berryhill Chiefs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-0 defeat last Thursday.

Cushing's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Berryhill, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 31-5.

Cushing didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-0 victory against Muldrow on the 30th. As for Berryhill, they will challenge Lincoln Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
