Baseball Game Preview: North Central Knights vs. Cheraw Braves

North Central is 2-8 against Cheraw since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Knights will take on the Braves at 6:00 p.m. North Central has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

North Central is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 17th straight game dating back to last season last Tuesday. They came up short against Sumter, falling 12-2.

Meanwhile, Cheraw entered their tilt with Trinity Collegiate on Monday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They never let the Titans get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory.

Tyler Tolson was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Cheraw's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for North Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-16.

North Central suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Cheraw in their previous matchup last Monday. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
