Basketball Game Preview: Primero Bulldogs vs. Centennial Rams

Primero hasn't had much luck against Centennial recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Primero Bulldogs will welcome the Centennial Rams at 5:00 p.m. Primero will be strutting in after a victory while Centennial will be coming in after a loss.

Primero is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Manzanola: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Primero blew Manzanola out of the water with a 55-18 final score. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Centennial was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 42-38 to Creede.

Primero's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-11. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.0 points over those games. As for Centennial, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7.
