Doherty's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Vista Ridge Wolves as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Spartans not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

Doherty's got stronger as the match went on, holding Vista Ridge to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-13.

Brenna Moerman paced Doherty's offense, picking up 12 kills. Moerman got some help from Isabella Tessier and her 11 assists.

Doherty's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Vista Ridge, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

Coincidentally, Doherty and Vista Ridge will both be playing Pine Creek the next time they take the court. The Wolves will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Spartans will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
