Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Gets the Win

Roosevelt got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They came out on top against the Legacy Tigers by a score of 64-55 on Wednesday. The Rough Riders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The win made it two in a row for Roosevelt and bumps their season record up to 4-6. As for Legacy, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Roosevelt has already played their next contest (against Huntington Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Legacy will challenge Garfield at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
